The weather had been good all week and Turku was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lt Dan sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




Top Issue quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m. Påarps Dolores sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Påarps Dolores was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 40 m.




Påarps Dolores sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Tropical Moonlight was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Påarps Dolores kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Through The Grapewine sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
