The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pointe Du Croisic could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Fast Comet was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Delta Leader sprinted to the front. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Delta Leader was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Delta Leader followed by Mezzana Universale and Traderman. Lane two Pointe Du Croisic followed by Fast Comet and Lying Sunshine.



Mezzana Universale litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Jack Talking galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Pointe Du Croisic sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
