It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lucky Moon took the lead after a very quick start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Beautiful In Red sprinted to the front. Tricky Princess started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Donna Bella sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Beautiful In Red was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Amazing Box looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Fair Galaxy started to gallop after 1500m and Axel Jacobsen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Amazing Box sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Starshine Heat made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Courir Comme Un Léopard.
