The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stepping Twister sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Deeply In Love started to galop and lost 10 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Essentiels started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Speciale Ragazza took the lead after 1000m. Gambling Prince didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Essentiels galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Speciale Ragazza followed by Hot Star and Walking Heat. Lane two Stepping Twister followed by Deeply In Love and Delightful. Addicted started to gallop after 1500m and Olle Goop had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Stepping Twister put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Stepping Twister were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Royal Prince was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.




Hot Star won. Stepping Twister came in second. Speciale Ragazza caught third place.
