One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Hook Me Up could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Sad Lemonade was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Skipping Box who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Avril sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Avril today. It continued in the lead. Skipping Box showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Sad Lemonade gallopped for 30 m.

Avril sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Jumping Thought was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.

Hook Me Up litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Free My Mind galop. Free My Mind lost 20 m.

Hook Me Up kept the speed the whole finish and won before Avril and Flawless Diamond.
