One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Admiral Printer found a gap and took the lead. Bold Garden followed before Happy Cruiser.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Growing Mustache started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Sunbeam Clover who started to galop and lost 10 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Bold Garden took the lead rather easily. Stretching Diary was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Sunbeam Clover suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

Happy Cruiser looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Happy Cruiser kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Bold Garden never caught up with Happy Cruiser who won. Luna Piena came third.
