The weather had been good all week and Solvalla was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Phantom Pearl quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Windy Pie sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Sad Breeze saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Sad Breeze sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Not A Babe was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Not A Babe galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




Phantom Pearl sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
