Only a humble breeze blew over Solvalla this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Eat My Dust sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Eat My Dust was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Eat My Dust was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Acquire Respect gallopped for 20 m.



With only a little left of the race Acquire Respect galoped for 10 m. With only a little left of the race Acquire Respect galoped for 10 m. Eat My Dust looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






No-one could catch Eat My Dust today who won before Smithsonian and Silver Pearl.
