The weather had been good all week and Åmål was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wurfrahmen Larockma could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Playing Ruby, Close To Explode, Front Scout, Special Lady, Dead Mountain, Sliding Scope, Wurfrahmen Larockma, The Chase. A bird flew just in front of Playing Ruby who started to galop and lost 20 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Sliding Scope took the lead rather easily. Playing Ruby galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Front Scout accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. The Chase showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Front Scout kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. The Chase galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Front Scout kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Playing Ruby won. Sliding Scope came in second. Front Scout caught third place.
