The sun was shining on Hagmyren today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Honourable Mountain. Uptown Downtown ended up behind the leader. Big Momentum got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Lars Lindberg wanted a little to much in the start and Polite Pirate galoped for 50 m. Megalomaniac Cain was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Big Momentum, Universe Hero, Medieval Methods, Uptown Downtown, Megalomaniac Cain, Honourable Mountain, Vintage Code, Machoke. Slam Dunk was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Champagne galloped way to long and was disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Force Of Space galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Big Momentum followed by Honourable Mountain and Medieval Methods. Lane two Vintage Code followed by Uptown Downtown and Megalomaniac Cain. Uptown Downtown started to gallop after 1500m and Jan-Olof Johansson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Polite Pirate started to gallop after 1500m and Lars Lindberg had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Big Momentum looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Winner of todays race was Big Momentum. Vintage Code came in second. Uptown Downtown became third.
