One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wish Me Luck could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Doom sprinted to the front.




Doom was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Wish Me Luck galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Doom followed by Shock Wave and Platinum Platinum. Lane two Toronto Maple Leafe followed by Galaxyland Dynamo and Brave Steel. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Unknown was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Doom sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Strong Argument was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.




Toronto Maple Leafe won the race after a spectacular finish.
