One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bob Barney found a gap and took the lead. Trojan Horse Incarnated followed before Secret Service. When the startcar left the field Secret Service started to galop and lost 50 m.




Bob Barney was in fine shape and held the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Trojan Horse Incarnated took the lead after 1000m. Secret Service didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Secret Service accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Bob Barney took the lead. Unknown was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.



With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 40 m. Unknown was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Bob Barney kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
