The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Bollnäs this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ginger Man could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Stifling Tropic saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Ginger Man galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Scar Tissue looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Close To Explode couldn't come out from behind the leader, Stifling Tropic.

Stopping Whirlwind was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Scar Tissue looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Close To Explode couldn't come out from behind the leader, Stifling Tropic.

Mikael Lindmark tried a little too much on the homestretch and Front Movement started to galopp and lost 40 m.

Close To Explode won the race after a spectacular finish.
