One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Brave Lilac. Minnesota Express ended up behind the leader. Moving Wolf got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Setoguchi sprinted to the front. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Brave Lilac sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

Brave Lilac was still in the lead after 1500m.

Brave Lilac kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Minnesota Express galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.

Fleece Power never caught up with Brave Lilac who won. Pembroke came third.
