One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Tobb L. Ruel. Easy To Survive ended up behind the leader. Just Stone got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 20 m. driver couldn't keep Pink Frosting to trotting so they were disqualified.

This is the positions after 500m. Printemps, Just Stone, Ray, Beast, Without Warning, Easy To Survive, Tobb L. Ruel, Falling Tank. A bird flew just in front of Pink Frosting who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Printemps was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Beast didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
