One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ray found a gap and took the lead. Playing Moon followed before Burnout. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m. Miracle Touch showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Burnout quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Playing Moon sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Playing Moon followed by Ray and Top Sister. Lane two Teegarden's Star followed by Burnout and Sergeant Comet.

Ray put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Playing Moon was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m.

Teegarden's Star speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Miracle Touch galop. Miracle Touch lost 10 m.

No-one could catch Teegarden's Star today who won before Ray and Playing Moon.
