The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Oviken this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Universe Victory. Relaxing Body ended up behind the leader. Hallowed Bethy Name got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Perfect Diamond, Brave Knight, Yama, Relaxing Body, Hekate, Hallowed Bethy Name, Universe Victory, Jumping Band.




The leader got disturbed by something and Yama took the lead rather easily.




Relaxing Body looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Jumping Band put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



With only a little left of the race Hekate galoped for 50 m. Jumping Band kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Jumping Band didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
