The weather had been good all week and Mikkeli was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Honourable Asteroid could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Stretching Rocket quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Louise Kalcedon showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Louis Le Fainéant sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Universe Accelirator looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Stretching Rocket galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Stretching Rocket was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Louis Le Fainéant speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Louise Kalcedon galop. Louise Kalcedon lost 0 m.

Louis Le Fainéant didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
