It had been raining for several days at Jarlsberg but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lovely Iowa found a gap and took the lead. Angerer followed before Slow Thrasher.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Slow Thrasher sprinted to the front. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Angerer took the lead after 1000m. Lovely Iowa didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Angerer today. It continued in the lead.




Lovely Iowa suddenly took over the lead. Angerer was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.



Lovely Iowa kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Slow Thrasher galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Lovely Iowa didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
