The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Cowboy Wannabe took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Tangled sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Velvet Chemistry looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Lady Sovereign started to gallop after 1500m and Stefan Söderkvist had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Velvet Chemistry looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Cowboy Wannabe never caught up with Velvet Chemistry who won. Tangled came third.
