One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Little Top found a gap and took the lead. La Baguette followed before Running Frenzy.

This is the positions after 500m. Cereal Killer, Light Piece, Icebreaker, Running Frenzy, Zhnitzel, Gorgeous Peach, Bring The Beast, La Baguette. A bird flew just in front of Little Top who started to galop and lost 20 m.

Gorgeous Peach looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that La Baguette couldn't come out from behind the leader, Cereal Killer.

Gorgeous Peach saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Unknown galloped for 20 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Light Piece gallopped for 40 m.

Gorgeous Peach kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

On Your Marks galoped way to long and was disqualified. Jan-Åke Hoas tried a little too much on the homestretch and On Your Marks started to galopp and lost 10 m.

La Baguette made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Gorgeous Peach.
