One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Old Eric could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Claes Svensson wanted a little to much in the start and La Nightrider galoped for 40 m.




Indépendant quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Honourable Mountain sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Guard Of Ottawa suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Honourable Mountain followed by Close Piece and Strike One. Lane two Old Eric followed by Going To Greenville and Rampage Bandit.




Honourable Mountain kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Honourable Mountain sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

La Nightrider galoped for 60m and was disqualified. La Nightrider was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.




Final standings. 1 Going To Greenville, 2 Close Piece, 3 Honourable Mountain.
