One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Vintage Code could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Giant Royal sprinted to the front. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Vintage Code who started to galop and lost 0 m.

Réclamant Le Trophée looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Cri Pour Moi couldn't come out from behind the leader, Giant Royal. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Giant Royal was still in the lead after 1500m.

Giant Royal kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and True Racer started to galopp and lost 20 m. True Racer galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.

Vintage Code sprinted over the finishline before Giant Royal and Réclamant Le Trophée.
