The weather had been good all week and Åmål was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Wieso. Playing Cookie ended up behind the leader. Perfect Fliegend got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Lexina, Perfect Fliegend, Sleepy Closet, Light Princess, Rainbow, Wieso, Playing Cookie, Beautiful Lie.




Sleepy Closet sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Beautiful Lie was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Sleepy Closet today. It continued in the lead.




Sleepy Closet was still in the lead after 2000m.



Sleepy Closet kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Sleepy Closet didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
