The weather had been good all week and Åmål was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Musketeer could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Slow Valley saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Because Of You who started to galop and lost 10 m. Kintyre galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Because Of You sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Because Of You followed by Windy Twister and Leafy Sea Dragon. Lane two Max Wolf followed by Musketeer and Almighty. En Les Cage galloped for 50 m.



With only a little left of the race En Les Cage galoped for 30 m. Because Of You sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Slow Valley galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




No-one could catch Because Of You today who won before Windy Twister and Max Wolf.
