The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Arvika today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Avec Plaisir could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Viking Berserk sprinted to the front.




The leader got disturbed by something and Günther took the lead rather easily.




Avec Plaisir saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Avec Plaisir was still in the lead after 2000m. Viking Berserk gallopped 10 m after 2000m.




Avec Plaisir was safely in the lead after 2500m.



Avec Plaisir looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Avec Plaisir didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
