The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Chewing Gum. Tranche De Plait ended up behind the leader. Brave Folder got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Chewing Gum was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Believe In Speed sprinted to the front.




Ange De Paradis sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Ange De Paradis followed by Chewing Gum and Wolf Raven. Lane two Brave Folder followed by Tranche De Plait and Cool Fyr.



Ange De Paradis looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Chewing Gum won. Ange De Paradis came in second. Brave Folder caught third place.
