It had been raining for several days at Rättvik but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Slow Power sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Max Striker, Saint Jack, Thunder Speed, Snel Hest, I Promised Myself, Slow Power, Charlie Boy, Mr Boko.




The leader got disturbed by something and Saint Jack took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Saint Jack today. It continued in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Snel Hest galoped for 40 m. Saint Jack kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Slow Power won the race after a spectacular finish.
