One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Queen Jamil sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Kirmento quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Genghis Khan sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Genghis Khan followed by Charmaine Sheh and Gimcrack. Lane two Queen Jamil followed by Ideal Du Suede and Platinum Work.



Queen Jamil was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Genghis Khan kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Old Missile galop. Old Missile lost 30 m. Stop The King galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Genghis Khan didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
