Only a humble breeze blew over Åmål this day. The track where in perfect shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Crystal Palace sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Per Johansson wanted a little to much in the start and Rhythm Divine galoped for 50 m.
The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.
Blackout looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Rhythm Divine couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Crystal Palace.

Blackout kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Blackout kept the speed the whole finish and won before
