Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Seinäjoki track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Breaking Starshine could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m.




Holy Thought saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Holy Thought was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Jolly Spring was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Holy Thought was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Holy Thought galoped for 50 m. Breaking Starshine was first on the homestretch followed by Spring Flower and Sudden Meadow.

Holy Thought galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Spring Flower sprinted over the finishline before Breaking Starshine and Sudden Meadow.
