One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Betsy Boy.

Breeze ended up behind the leader.
Mr Starman got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m.
Betsy Boy was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.
The leader got disturbed by something and
Mr Starman took the lead rather easily. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.
Betsy Boy looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.
Mr Starman suddenly took over the lead.
Mr Starman kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Starshine
Breeze was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Starshine
Breeze started to galopp and lost 50 m.
Mr Starman didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
