One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Cornichon. Stepping Bouquet ended up behind the leader. Mépris got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Flying Crown started to galop and lost 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Mépris, The Fiftythird State, Autumn In Londres, Stepping Bouquet, Attention Please, Cornichon, Speedy Rocket, Flying Crown. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Autumn In Londres sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Cornichon saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Speedy Rocket started to gallop after 1500m and Per-Åke Holmsten had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Cornichon sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Flying Crown was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Mépris showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Cornichon looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Stepping Bouquet, 2 Cornichon, 3 Speedy Rocket.
