One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stretching Sun could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Kauronheart was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Ticking News took the lead rather easily.




Tropical Thinker saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Tropical Thinker didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Tropical Thinker kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Stretching Sun won the race after a spectacular finish.
