The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Harstad today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Moonlight Whirlwind. Jolly Spring ended up behind the leader. Beautiful Grove got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Lars Anvar Kolle wanted a little to much in the start and Læser galoped for 10 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Jolly Spring sprinted to the front. Moonlight Whirlwind was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Pointing Grove looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Beautiful Grove couldn't come out from behind the leader, Jolly Spring. Helen Lovejoy suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Jolly Spring followed by Beautiful Grove and Starwars. Lane two Pointing Grove followed by Moonlight Whirlwind and Beauty Pearl.

Jolly Spring sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

With only a little left of the race Vanilla Queen galoped for 10 m. Pointing Grove was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Jolly Spring looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Helen Lovejoy galop. Helen Lovejoy lost 10 m.

Jolly Spring didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
