One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Blackie took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m. Sydney was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Like A Cat was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




Sydney quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Like A Cat who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Blackie looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Angel Delight couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sydney.




Sydney was still in the lead after 1500m. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Sydney sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Like A Cat was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. With only a little left of the race Like A Cat galoped for 40 m. Sydney sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






No-one could catch Sydney today who won before Blackie and Wolverine.
