The weather had been good all week and Sørlandet was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Avril could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

The leader got disturbed by something and Ghostly Winter took the lead rather easily. Queen Jamil galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Moving Pirate made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Thunderhead.
