The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Arvika this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Havre Legend found a gap and took the lead. Max Steel followed before Rolling Red. Sad Sunshine was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

Objection Overruled quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Angel Above took the lead after 1000m. Max Steel didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Rolling Red galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Rolling Red looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Warhumwee Palema galloped for 30 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Sad Sunshine gallopped for 40 m.

Rolling Red sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
