The weather had been good all week and Eskilstuna was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Étoile De Mer could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Torbjörn Jansson wanted a little to much in the start and Fantastic Wind galoped for 10 m.

Étoile De Mer was in fine shape and held the lead. Perfect Sun started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Shining Meadow took the lead after 1000m. Étoile De Mer didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Cheval Sauvage looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Amazing Rose galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Cheval Sauvage sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Cheval Sauvage was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.

Shining Meadow made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Successful Business.
