One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Night Crawler took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m. When the startcar left the field Twice A Day started to galop and lost 0 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Thunderhead was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

Twice A Day kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Winner of todays race was Twice A Day. The Chase came in second. Helpful Rock became third.
