One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Skipping Darkness could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Örjan Kihlström wanted a little to much in the start and Jaded galoped for 10 m. driver couldn't keep Perfect Dynamite to trotting so they were disqualified. When the startcar left the field Gorgeous Pie started to galop and lost 10 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Starshine Wind started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Fighting Moment who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Look Away looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Jaded couldn't come out from behind the leader, Skipping Darkness.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Skipping Darkness today. It continued in the lead. Skipping Darkness galloped for 30 m.



Gorgeous Pie was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. With only a little left of the race Starshine Wind galoped for 30 m. Skipping Darkness looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Perfect Dynamite galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Winner of todays race was Skipping Darkness. Look Away came in second. Gorgeous Pie became third.
