One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Prime Guard could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Quattro Scrubs took the lead after 1000m. Lucky Madness didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Quattro Scrubs followed by Prime Guard and Phantom Pearl. Lane two Lucky Madness followed by Lucky Tribute and Ferdinand Larockma. One Hit Wonder galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Modest Pie was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Quattro Scrubs sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Lucky Starshine was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.

Lucky Tribute sprinted over the finishline before Quattro Scrubs and Lucky Madness.
