Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Royal Empire. Universe Power ended up behind the leader. Money For Nothing got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Capital Guy sprinted to the front. Dove Darling was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Royal Empire sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Zoogina Queen accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Queenie was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Universe Power speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Royal Empire never caught up with Universe Power who won. Money For Nothing came third.
