Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Harstad track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Way To Money sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Fighting Valley was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Shooting Sound was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. Øystein Tjomsland wanted a little to much in the start and Sun of Pride galoped for 50 m.

Growling Jaguar was in fine shape and held the lead.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Front Scout today. It continued in the lead.

Front Scout sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Gunnar Eggen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Gimme Shelter started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Front Scout didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
