It had been raining for several days at Bergen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Momentum sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and

Diamond sprinted to the front.
Tempting
Diamond was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Les Équitable Choix looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.
Thunder General started to gallop after 1500m and Geir Vegard Gundersen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Les Équitable Choix kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.
With only a little left of the race

Les Équitable Choix were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Beau Du Quartier sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
