The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rosie's Cutiest Rose could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Tropical Closet sprinted to the front.




Gorgeous Garden sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Gorgeous Garden was still in the lead after 1500m.




Tropical Closet suddenly took over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Rosie's Cutiest Rose galoped for 50 m. Tropical Closet were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Gorgeous Garden never caught up with Tropical Closet who won. Amazing Spring came third.
