One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Jumping Box could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 50 m. Great Barrier Magician was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

Michelangelo saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Essentiels sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Great Barrier Magician looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Great Barrier Magician were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Metal Heaven was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.

Great Barrier Magician didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
