One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Power Night found a gap and took the lead. Tempting Starshine followed before Skipping Darkness. driver couldn't keep Shooting Tiger to trotting so they were disqualified.

Giggling Girl quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Travelling Darkness started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Travelling Darkness took the lead rather easily. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Skipping Darkness accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

With only a little left of the race Tempting Starshine galoped for 30 m. With only a little left of the race Giggling Girl galoped for 40 m. Power Night litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Sad Bear galopped for 50 m on the homestretch. Sad Bear was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Shooting Tiger galop. Shooting Tiger lost 20 m.

Leaving Sydney sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
