The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Mikkeli this day.



The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.





Günther could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m.




More Than Everything quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Tropical Witch who started to galop and lost 30 m. Running Starlight was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Running Scout looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Günther couldn't come out from behind the leader, More Than Everything. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m.



With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 20 m. Günther looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Numero Una couldn't come out from behind the leader, More Than Everything.






Günther won the race after a spectacular finish.
