It had been raining for several days at Tornio but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





The King Step could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




Gynge Den Bane quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Running Factory sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Running Factory followed by Jumping Lady and Sliding Thrasher. Lane two The King Step followed by Gynge Den Bane and Love You. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Jumping Lady put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Unknown gallopped 30 m after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 40 m. Jumping Lady kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Sliding Thrasher sprinted over the finishline before Jumping Lady and The King Step.
